How Does DTF Film Work?
1. Print your design onto DTF film using DTF ink.
2. Apply DTF powder to the wet ink.
3. Cure the transfer with a heat press or curing oven.
4. Heat press transfer the pattern onto fabric and peel the film (hot or cold, depending on the type).
Hot Peel vs. Cold Peel DTF Film – What’s the Difference?
★ Hot Peel Film – Can be peeled immediately after pressing, saving time in production.
★ Cold Peel Film – Must cool down before peeling, but offers slightly better color vibrancy and durability.
What is the difference between double matte (double side) and single matte (single side) film?
Both types of film have one printing surface. Double matte film is just single matte film with an additional underside coating in anti slip coating designed to prevent feeding issues and improve grip. All DTF film can be peeled warm or cold.
